Siempreviva de Anaga (Limonium macrophyllum)
Perennial herbs or shrubs, with leaves clustered in a basal rosette. Leaves are entire, large (up to 30 cm long), oblanceolate to narrowly ovate. Flower stems are winged, with blue-mauve flowers. Native to Tenerife, relegated to the Anaga mountain range, where it grows along the north flank, between 50 and 550 m altitude. Also grown in the gardens of damper higher zones in this part of the island. Only grows on rocks and can be very common in some locations.
