Hera-terrestre, erva-redonda (Sibthorpia peregrina)

Perennial herb, scrambling and hanging, very woolly; leaves are round, margins crenate, 15-60 mm across. Flowers are yellow, emerging in the axils of the stems. Very abundant in evergreen forest and thermophile habitats, from 100-1,400 m, although it is more characteristic of damp zones, generally growing on rocks, hillsides and slopes. This endemic is relegated to Madeira, although it is also found on some peaks of Porto Santo.
