Estornudera, pedorrera (Andryala pinnatifida ssp. buchiana)
Very variable herb, with several subspecies on the Canary Islands. A. buchiana is exclusive to the two eastern Canary Islands (Lanzarote and Fuerteventura) and is distinguished by its small size (up to 50 cm tall) and dense branching. Leaves are pinnatifid, very smooth, light to whitish-green; flowers are yellow, up to 1 cm in diameter, arranged terminally in clusters on the stems. This native species is relegated to certain spots such as Famara massif and surrounding areas, in Lanzarote, and the massifs of Betancuria and Jandía in Fuerteventura, generally above 400 m altitude, although in Lanzarote it also appears at lower levels. Common in certain areas, but not very widely distributed.
