Chaerophyllum azoricum
Erect, up to 1 m, rather branched and densely hairy. Leaves are pinnate, segments ovate and serrate, rather pubescent beneath. Flowers in terminal umbels, with white petals. A rare plant, typical of more or less damp rocky zones (generally within juniper and laurel woods) located from 150-700 m. Endemic to the Azores and found in four islands (São Miguel, São Jorge, Pico and Flores), in all likelihood more widely distributed throughout the archipelago in the past. Nowadays it is well represented in Flores.
