Vulneraria de Madeira (Anthyllis lemanniana)
Perennial herb, rather woody at base and highly branched. Leaves are composite, with 5 or 6 pairs of leaflets, elliptic-oblong, 5-20 cm long and 1-6 cm wide, rather greyish-green. Inflorescences are dense and composed of 5-20 cream or pink flowers, with purple markings. This rupicolous plant is very rare and exclusive to the high montane region of Madeira, from 1,200-1,800 m.
